DeleteMy birthday is August 18th, and we always do something different for my birthday. A couple years ago when I was pregnant with my daughter my sister got me to sit on a saddle at Texas Roadhouse on my birthday. Its always interesting :)

See, we had scheduled our wedding for June 19th (Saturday evening) but the chapel somehow got double-booked and we were the second one booked. Well, since we had the date made, we made our cruise reservations for leaving on Sunday June 20th. So we had no choice but to make our date before for our departure date, so we moved it to Friday night. LOL!

Our family usually gets together and celebrates all three of our birthdays and July 4th with a cookout followed by lots of fireworks out over the lake where my parents live. I love it! It kind of feels like everyone around the lake is celebrating our birthdays with us, especially when it falls on a weekend because there are fireworks for two or three nights in a row. :)

ReplyDeleteMy birthday is March 17th and with it being on St. Patrick's Day, we usually frequent an Irish pub on my birthday. Every year we go to the St. Patrick's Day parade, so that's another tradition around my birthday. :)

ReplyDeleteHappy birthday! Mine is December 13th, a long ways away. The past four or so years my mom has made me a brownie cake (brownie with buttercream frosting on top) but other than that I don't do anything too special.
